Yep hamburgers are low carb. Been jonesing for one lately. While I
haven't eaten a real bready hamburger for a long time now ( like 3
years) and now wouldn't tolerate one if I tried ( bread doesn't jive
with me YEAH!!!), I made a tasty one tonight.
I watch the paper for the lean roast sales $1.59 to $1.99 per pound. I
ask them to ground up the lean roast for me and I use it for a very
low fat hamburger. Fat content is 4% and you can't buy lean hamburger
for that price with that percentage of fat.
I broil a patty and when its 75% done I drain it on papertowels, lay a
half slice of havarti cheese on it and nuke it for 30 seconds to
finish it and melt the cheese. I then cut the patty into strips and
lay them in a dill pickle slice lined romaine heart leaf. A small
smear of mustard, Hellman's or Best Foods Mayo light mayo, and a small
squirt of LC ketchup and voila a wonderfully flavorful LC crunchy
burger.
I imagine a bacon strip would be good also but too much fat makes me
feel icky.

Who the hell are you? Some newbie moron posting through Google Groups
who doesn't even know how to use the usenet? Laureen is a long-time
poster in ASDLC and has many friends here. Maybe it's you who needs
to go somewhere else where your snarky and inappropriate comments
might be better appreciated.

Hi Laureen
You're latest picture is awesome! Good job! How are Larry and Alyvia
doing? Say "hi" to them for me.
I've lost another 35 pounds since you saw me, and am steadily losing
again. I'm at about 230 now, and am going to wait until I'm below 200
pounds before I post another picture. That should be sometime around
April or May at the rate I'm going. I fully intend to achieve my goal
weight of 180 pounds by this fall.

This post does belong here. Laureen has been posting here for years,
and did you notice that she said too much fat makes "me" feel icky?
Her hamburger is still low carb.

The hamburger she posted was fine for low carb. I'm very aware of how
she lost her weight, and a wonderful weight loss it has been. Her
posts certainly belong here.

That's a freaking lie. Laureen lost 100+ pounds on low carb before
her WLS. Laureen is doing *exactly* what you always preach -- eat
less and excercise. She walks everywher and excercises regulary, and
she is eating less by watching both carbs and calorie-dense fat.
Are all people in Texas as obtuse as you and George Bush?

She "couldn't" lose weight so she had surgery. Now she doesn't follow a low
carb diet.

Of course she *could* lose weight, and she did. It just bugs the Hell

No, she "couldn't" lose weight following any type of diet, as per the google
record. You can try to rewrite history, but it's all for naught. She
wasn't successful, so she had to spend thousands of dollars to achieve what
a little self discipline could have obtained for free. It seems to bug the
hell out of you that the truth won't die. |

Who cares how she did it, and she wasn't using your money, so why do
you care? You should be happy for her that she has lost the weight,
and is doing so well, instead of STILL trying to attack her at every
turn. YOU ROCK LAUREEN!!!!
